Bonus point wins for both Wigtownshire and Bishopton keeps the things pretty much as they were at the top, though Shire do stretch their lead as the Medics had the weekend off. There's 13 points between first and second, so Shire are still down as our favourites for the title, but with their two contenders still to play, it's certainly not over.

Shire have a National Bowl semi-final match against Panmure (kick-off 3pm) on Saturday so both the Medics and Bishopton can close the gap. The Medics are away at Mull and Bishopton are at Cowal. To keep the pressure on, wins are essential for the two challengers, whilst the bonus point is probably also required.
The real fireworks then kick-off over the following two weekends when Shire visit Bishopton and then host the Medics. A win in either of these is probably enough for the title to go to the boys from Stranraer; but a couple of losses and they’ll probably need to wait till the final game on 12th May when Bishopton host the Medics for what could be the decider to see which of the three Clubs are crowned champions.
