Once again, the West Regional league are looking like the most competitive in Scotland.  However a few results going the other way on Saturday and we'd probably not be saying that.

Before kick-off, Stewartry sat top of West 1, five points clear of the competition, with a trip to 2nd place Garnock giving them the opportunity to go 10 clear.

Stewartry sit top of West 1 with another win at the weekend, this time against Annan winning with a 47-nil result.  This is the fifth league game from six where they have scored more than 40 points.

Garnock move up to second with a victory away at Ardrossan Accies, but they are still five points behind Stewartry which makes next weekend's game against the league leaders crucial.
