West Region Predictor Challenge - 18 January 2020

Pretty decent for the Predictor Challenge this week, scoring 75%; but one of those that was called wrong, was well wrong, and the WD guys gently reminded us of that fact.

Whilst the PNOdd Index called 9 from 12 (75%) correct, the average across the 49 entrants was 65%, slightly down on the overall average of 68.9% at the start of the week.

TheMailMan scored an impressive 11 from 12 (nearly 92%) this week (including calling both the Wigtownshire and WD games correct), with Pads and Wee Man scoring 10 from 12.

This weeks results give rise to a number of changes in the overall Top 10 Leaderboard.

TheMailMans impressive scores mean they jump from fourth up to the top spot, with CJD dropping to second.

David McCrae stays in third, with John Dawson jumping from 7th to fourth.

FC97 drops from second to fifth, with the PNOdd Index remaining in sixth place.

There is very little between Top 10, where a poor week in the Challenge will have a big change in positions.  For instances, there is less than one correct result between 1st and 2nd, whilst there are only three correct scores between TheMailMan in 1st and the PNOdd Index in 6th (across 198 predictions submitted).

We've had 194 entrants to this seasons Challenge, submitting 14,178 predictions across the games that have been played.  Our entrants have correctly predicted 9,739 results (an average of 68.7%).

There's a full fixture card this weekend, with some interesting looking games.   We've outlined our picks for the Challenge earlier in the week in the weekly update, and have summarised them below.
