With the Paisley v Cumnock game falling foul of the weather, we only had three games played in West 2 at the weekend.
Cambuslang had no game scheduled, so as a result Stewartry closed the gap on the leaders to two points with a 58 points to 12 victory over Waysiders. The top two Clubs have now played 14 games each, both having won 12 and lost two - bonus points being what separates them.
There's two games left for each of them, and both will expect to win their last game, so it's looking like it will all come down to this weekend, where we have Stewartry traveling to Cambuslang - it could be winner takes all.
The top two are well clear of the rest - Stewartry are 20 points ahead of Clydebank in third, whilst the points difference of the top two is well ahead of the rest of the league contenders.
Clydebanks 24-18 win at Millbrae moves them ahead of Paisley into third place, whilst Lenzies 33-19 win against Cumbernauld closes the gap to Paisley to a single point.
Cumbernauld at the foot of the table are 17 points behind Waysiders, so with only three games remaining, they're not able to catch their local rivals. They'll now need to wait on the outcome of National 3 to see if they'll be relegated to West 3, but with Dalziel 13 points ahead of the dropzone, they'll probably still be in West 2 next season.
