We're expecting several Clubs to be contending for the West 1 title again this year, and to get us started we have last years runners-up (Garnock) hosting the third place finishers (Allan Glens), whilst Dalziel, who came down from National 3 last season, will be hoping their home game against Annan is a bit more comfortable than their trip to Wigtownshire last week in the Shield.

East Kilbride must quickly recover from the defeat at Strathendrick last week, whilst Strathendrick themselves will be keen to demonstrate to the rest of the league that last weeks result was not a one-off.

West 2 should also be tight.  Paisley and Lenzie were close last season so they're probably the early favourites for the title, but with Helensburgh and Oban coming down from West 1, it won't be plain sailing.  Also watch out for Wigtownshire. However, as we say, we expect this to be tight again, with teams each taking points off one another.

In West 3 it's hard to see past Glasgow Uni Medics (who finished 3rd last season) or Birkymre (who dropped down from West 2), but as has been the case in this league for the past few seasons, getting a consistent team on the pitch is one of the biggest challenges - for example, WD had plenty of wins in West 2 last season, but they also had loads of points deducted for unfulfilled games; get the playing numbers sorted, and they'll also be up there challenging.
