West Region Predictor Challenge - 23 November 2019

Well a few surprise results this week across the West Regional leagues which puts the Predictor Challenge success rate down, but just as importantly, we had a number of games where the Index was pretty tight, which means a sizable proportion of our entrants missed out.

We had four entrants who scored 80%, three with 12 correct entries from the 15 played, and Paul-M scoring four from the five West 1 results predicted.

However, the majority of us were somewhat less fortunate.  The overall average across the 61 entrants this week was down at 58%, way below near 71% running average across the season to date.

None of last weeks Top 10 Leaderboard were amongst our top scorers this week, so that leaves room for change in the overall competition.

With no entry submitted this week, Birney remains at the top of the Leaderboard (no entry next week though and Birney will drop off the Leaderboard as the minimum entry criteria increases to 60).

D moves from fourth to second (again no entry this week), whilst Robbie had a bit of a mare this week which sees him drop from second to 9th. David McCrae remains in third.

This weeks impressive 80% scores from TheMailMan and FC97 sees them join the Top 10 Leaderboard.

The PNOdd Index remains in contention on the Leaderboard, averaging just over 78% across all the entries submitted.

To date, 183 entrants have joined the Predictor Challenge, submitting 12,472 predictions across the games played, with an average success rate of 69.7%.

A number of games of interest in the title battles at the top of each of the West Regional leagues this weekend, as well as a couple of derby games to throw into the Predictor Challenge mix.
