From the archive - 27th November 2021 Fixtures

We're back to a full schedule of Mens West Regional fixtures this weekend, and out trawl through the archive brings us six games that match those on Saturday.

In West 1, we've got East Kilbride v Strathendrick taking place at Torrance House.  Our first game comes from August 2018 when they met in Fintry.

Strathendrick won this one 35-15 and with only 1 league win to their name this season, they'll be hoping for a similar sort of result. East Kilbride how have four wins from eight so must start out as favourites.

In West 2 we have a couple of this Saturdays games covered.

Title challengers Strathaven host relegation battlers Clydebank at Whiteshawgate.  Our archive game comes from February 2020 when the pair met at Whitecrooks.  It was a comfortable win for Strathaven, and if current league form is anything to go by, then it'll be another win for Strathaven.

League leaders Cumnock are hosting fifth placed Paisley, but with a 23 point gap between them, Cumnock will be looking to add to their already substantial points difference.

Our next dig into the archive covers the Oban Lorne v Dalziel game.  For this one we have two sets of highlights.

The first comes from a Shield Quarter Final match September 2018 which Dalziel won 19 - 10, and the second November 2019 from Dalziel Park which Dalziel won 15 - 0.

There's only two places between them in the league, but Oban are 10 points ahead with a game in hand.

Oban won their first enounter this season, but there was only four points in it - so it looks like it could be a close one.

And from West 3 we have another two games covered.

The first comes from a Bowl contest in October 2019 at Dillichip where Loch Lomond hosted Glasgow Uni Medics.

Medics are currently top, and will be looking to continue their unbeaten run but Lomond have lost only one game so far this season, so aren't to be taken lightly.  A win for Lomond could see them move up several places.

Our second game comes from the other end of the table.  Both Shawlands and Hyndland are struggling so far this season, so this will be a chance to gain a bit of confidence.

This was a game that was played at Lochinch in December 2018 which Hyndland won 17-10.
