Results Review - 27th November 2021

West 1

Glens maintain their unbeaten run with a 52-0 win against Annan, putting them on 44 points.  Garnock keep up the pressure on the league leaders with a win at Lenzie.  Glens lead is 9 points, but Garnock have a game in hand.  Stewartry had no game but they're only one point behind Garnock, again with a game in hand on Glens.

Results - 27th November 2021

Both East Kilbride & Kilmarnock move up one spot following chunky wins, with Annan dropping two places as a result.

The bottom three each lost, and find themselves further behind eighth as Carrick took the victory in Cambuslang.  Irvine in ninth however have several games in hand, so Lenzie and Carrick could still find themselves in bother.

In National 3, both Greenock and Ardrossan are propping up the table, so we could see two West Region Clubs relegated back to the regional leagues, which would then have a big impact on each of these Clubs at the bottom of West 1 with potentially three relegated to West 2.

West 2

There was a big win for Cumnock against Paisley as they maintain their lead of West 2.  Strathaven remain in second despite their game being postponed which allowed Wigtownshire to close the gap to three points following a home win against Helensburgh.

Oban lost a tight match at home against Dalziel who move up one place and onto the same points as Paisley.

WD picked up their first win of the season, winning away at Uddingston, but they remain rooted to the foot, adrift of the other relegated threatened Clubs, which goes all the way up to Dalziel in fifth - there are only six points between them and Clydebank in ninth.  If three are to be relegated then we still have six Clubs in that melting pot.

West 3

In West 3 it's wins for both Glasgow Uni Medics and Cumbernauld to cement their lead at the top of the table.  Medics are four points ahead and with a game in hand, so are looking like favourites for the title.

Medics win was against Loch Lomond which is only their second loss of the season, so stalls their challenge a wee bit, whilst third placed Lochaber lost out in a tight battle at Bishopton.

Lochaber remain in third, 12 points behind Cumbernauld, but they have three games in hand, so they're not out of the title challenge yet, but they do need others to start taking points off the Medics. With the Birkmyre game off, Bishopton move up to fourth.

In the leagues derby game, Hyndland made the short journey across the river, but it was Shawlands who picked up their first win of the season.  It's tight down the foot of the table, so this result moves Shawlands from 12th up to 8th.  There's a number of Clubs with games to catch-up at this end of the table, so plenty more shuffling about to happen yet.
