The three horse race in West 1 continues as East Kilbride, Newton Stewart and Carrick all recorded victories at the weekend. East Kilbride lead on 43 points, 7 ahead of the chasing two, but Newton Stewart do have a game in hand.
At the foot of the table, the bottom three all lost, with Helensburgh continuing to prop up the table. Each of them have tough games again this weekend, so probably not much change coming in this contest; the search for bonus points must continue, even if victories are elusive.
Cambuslang maintained their five point lead at the top of West 2 with a narrow victory over Paisley, 31 - 29, whilst Stewartry kept up their challenge with a 31-10 win over Lenzie.
The mid table battle remains tights as Waysiders and Clydebank drew, whilst Millbrae won at home against Cumbernauld.
Cumbernauld and Lenzie are starting to get seperated from the rest, and will be looking to National 3 to see if they will need to worry about relegation.
Strathendrick maintain their dominance in West 3, having now won 9 from 9, with 8 bonus points, and only conceding 32 points. But for all this, Uddingston are only four points behind, but they have played a game more.
Police Scotland woes on the pitch continue following a 77-3 defeat against Uddingston, but with Wigtownshire only two points ahead, all is not lost. The Wigtownshire game was off at the weekend as Arran were unable to field a team.
Glasgow Uni Medics are top of West 4, with an unbeaten 7 from 7, and they find themselves 10 points ahead of Lanark, who have a game in hand - both had away wins at the weekend. Mull are on the same points as Lanark, but have played two games more, so are relying on those above losing several games if they are to finds themselves as promotion contenders.
At the foot, Clydesdale managed to play only their second game of the season - at 55-36, it was probably pretty entertaining stuff, though it was Hyndland who won out to claim their first victory of the season.
