Two wins for the top two in West 3 - Strathendrick a big 76 -3 away in Arran, but Uddingston had a much closer 16-10 victory at home to Birkmyre; the bonus point puts Endrick one point ahead in first place, whilst still having a game in hand.
It’s Strathendricks turn to host Birkmyre this weekend, whilst Uddie are away at 7th placed Bishopton.
At the foot of the table it’s pretty tight. Crucially, Bishopton beat Moffat 22-13, and whilst Wigtownshire lost at home to Strathaven, they did pick up a lose bonus point. PSG lost 26-3 at Loch Lomond.
The results now mean there are only 6 points between 7th and 10th.
Arran have a couple of games in hand on the others in the relegation battle, but with two unfulfilled fixtures, they may be due a points deduction.
Arran this week travel to 3rd place Strathaven, whilst PSG host Wigtownshire in a 9th v 10th match. In the final match of the league, Moffat host fourth place Loch Lomond.
We’re looking at wins for Uddie, Endrick, Loch Lomond and Strathaven - PSG v Wigtownshire is a bit more difficult to call, but we’ll go with the plastic pitch and home advantage giving PSG the win.
