The line-up for the West Regional Bowl is a bit mixed us, as this weekend we have two quarter final matches and a semi final match.
On 28th January we had a couple of round 1 matches scheduled, though the Bishopton v Glasgow Uni Medics didn’t take place, with the Uni boys getting a bye into the quarter finals. In the other game, Loch Lomond won 19 nil at home against Argyll & Bute.
There were also a couple of quarter final games that weekend as well. A league and Bowl double header between Birkmyre and Strathendrick, which Endrick won 30 point to nil, whilst Lanark beat Cowal 41-0. The winners of these two matches now face each other this weekend for a chance to reach the Regional Final.
The other two quarter-finals are also taking place this weekend.
In the first, we have Glasgow Uni Medics taking on Uddingston, whilst Loch Lomond take on Hyndland.
In each of the games this weekend, we have a top three West 3 team taking on a West 4 team, so we’re not expecting any upsets - but who knows it’s the Bowl
