The course is targeted at all coaches and match officials, and includes content on the following topics:
- Child protection (accredited by NSPCC Scotland)
- Injury prevention and management (including revised concussion guidance)
- Nutrition and anti-doping
- World Rugby law amendments trials
- Warm-up routine (shown to reduce injuries by up to 72%)
- PVG Disclosure Scotland checks
- Minimum coach and referee standards
Please note:
RugbyRight compliance is a condition within the Scottish Rugby Club Participation agreement, where £500 may be paid to a club (in May 2018) if they have a minimum of 80% of its coaches having completed this course in accordance with the Minimum Operating Standards.
