Glasgow Uni Medics had a big 115-17 win against Moffat,which helps puts pressure on Bishopton for the second promotion spot. However that win is more than cancelled out by a further points deduction from the Championship Committee, which means with two games remaining they’re 10 points behind Bishopton.
A single point this weekend for Bishopton on their trip to Mull will be enough for them to secure the runners-up spot and West 2 rugby next season, but if they don’t do this, then it’s down to the game against The Medics on 12th May.
The points deduction means that Shawlands in fourth are now only a point behind The Medics. Their last game is a visit from Cowal,
