National 3 Relegation Decider

Plenty of action still to come in the West 1 & 2 promotion and relegation battles, but much of the relegation fight now comes down to one game in National 3.

On Saturday, Haddington host Dalziel in what will decide which two Clubs are relegated from the National Leagues to the Regional Leagues.

There are three contenders for the two places.

Perthshire have finished their season on 20 points, Haddington and Dalziel are 3 points behind, and face each other at 3pm at Neilson Park.

So if we've worked this out correctly, a win for either Haddington or Dalziel and they'll be playing National League rugby next season, whilst the other and Perthshire drop to the regional leagues.

A draw, and Dalziel are relegated, but Haddington would stay up with a draw and a four try bonus.


If Dalziel are relegated from National 3, then the second relegation spot in West 1 and West 2 will become active.

Looks like we'll be leaving West Region this weekend and plugging EH41 4DB into the satnav.
