Scottish Rugby - Audited Accounts - 2021/22


 

Scottish Rugbys audited accounts for 2021/22 show a revenue of £57.9m, a rise of £5.5m from the previous year.

Adult male season structure review update


As part of the review of the male adult competitive season, Scottish Rugby have announced they will launch a survey to gather views of players, coaches and referees from across the male adult game to help in creating a season and competitive structure which is fit for purpose.

Recognising the ongoing challenges of unfulfilled fixtures, player transition and retention, and societal changes there is a realisation of a need for change.

Scottish Rugby launches £500k hardship fund to support rugby clubs during COVID-19 crisis


Scottish Rugby has launched a new £500,000 Club Hardship Fund (CHF) to offer financial assistance to grassroots clubs facing cashflow and financial challenges through the impact of Coronavirus (Covid-19).

Scottish Rugby Council Taskforce on governance confirmed


Scottish Rugby’s President Dee Bradbury will convene a taskforce comprising of Council and Board members to consider the governance of Scottish Rugby. Their findings will be presented to Scottish Rugby’s Council. This initiative follows the Council meeting held on 27 February. In the subsequent communication to member clubs on 2 March, Scottish Rugby committed to ensuring that clubs were informed of the Taskforce membership.

Concussion - If In Doubt, Sit Them Out


"Concussion is a brain injury, which is serious and can be suffered by a Player of any age."
World Rugby Regulation 10

Concussion and suspected concussion must be taken extremely seriously in order to protect the safety, health and welfare of players.
