The competitive rugby season got underway at the weekend with the prelim round of the West Regional Shield and Bowl (which by the looks of the SRU website, is not sponsored by Tennents).
It’s obviously very early in the season, but this prelim round threw up some interesting ties which might help give us an idea about how the league season will unfold.

RugbyRight 2018/19 Is Now Available for all Coaches and Match Officials
RugbyRight is the minimum standard course for all coaches and match officials in Scotland.
This season, there are three versions of the course available and coaches & match officials should complete the most relevant course. The course aims to improve standards of player welfare throughout all levels of the game in Scotland. The versions available are: Mini, Youth and Adult.
