It's a top of the table clash in West 1 this week, with Newton Stewart traveling to East Kilbride - both defences are pretty tight so far whilst in attack they're averaging 30 points a game. It's going to be a close contest. 3rd place Carrick host bottom of the table Helensburgh, who hopefully will be able to put a team together to travel this week.
Irvine play host to Annan, and this will be the first outing for Fiji international Nikki Little, who has come on board at Irvine as part of the recent investment in the Club, which could have a significant effect on the West 1 table.
The top two in West 2 will be looking for victories as they take on teams struggling towards the foot of the table, the same could possibly also be said of Paisley who are third, who take on Waysiders (2nd bottom), but WD had a big win last week against Millbrae, so perhaps something is stirring in Coatbridge.
We're predicting wins for each of the top four in West 3, but the Loch Lomond trip to Arran is no gimmie. Perhaps the tightest contest in the league will come when 2nd bottom Birkmyre host Bishopton, who are only four points ahead of them.
We have a top of the table clash in West 4, where Lanark visit the Glasgow Uni Medic boys - both are still unbeaten, both are scoring over 40 points a game, whilst Lanark have only conceded 17 points in four games - should be a good one. Elsewhere, Mull take on Argyll & Bute, where the hosts will be hoping for another comfortable win against their local rivals, and Hyndland take on their local rivals Shawlands. Clydesdale are supposed to travel to Cowal for only their second game of the season - if any game is off this weekend, we'd bet on this being it.
