West 3 Update - 21st February 2019

With both West 3 title contenders away from home last Saturday, we kept an eye open for a chance of an upset, but it wasn't to be, as both picked up bonus point wins.  WD had a comfortable 72-19 win away at Shawlands, whilst Medics 26-3 at Birkmyre.

WD still lead the way at the top of the table, with a four point gap to The Medics, but the Uni boys have a game in hand.

The Medics will play that game in hand this weekend as WD have no game, whilst Medics are off to Mull.

Mull were short of players last weekend for their trip to Cowal, so Medics will be hoping their journey is not in vein.  Mull and Cowal did play a development game, so it goes through as a 28 nil victory for Cowal.

The other game that took place in West 3 saw Hyndland travel to Fort William to take on Lochaber.  It was a 3rd v 8th contest, so it looked pretty straightforward - and the Predictor Odds had Lochaber as firm favourites - but a final scoreline of 15-10 for the home side suggest the game was far from straightforward for Lochaber.

Hyndland will look to this weekends short trip to Kilmalcolm to take on seventh placed Birkmyre and see it as a chance to move ahead of their hosts.

For this weekends Predictor Challenge, we're going with away wins for Glasgow Uni Medics and Hyndland, and a home win for Cowal against Shawlands.
