Round 2 of the HSBC 7s series takes place in Cape Town this weekend, with Scotland drawn against Australia, Wales and Canada.
Saturdays performance meant Scotland qualified for the Cup quarter-final, but they lost out to South Africa. A couple of tries for Pecqueur meant Scotland were in the hunt, but South Africa secured a 21-12 win with a try in the final play of the game.
Alas, a disappointing 12-7 defeat against Spain means we finish in 7th place for the second week running.
Scotland now sit on 20 points after two legs.
Next leg is in New Zealand on 26th January, where Scotland will face South Africa, France and Kenya in the pool stages.
